CGT Celebrates with the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank, Best Non-For-Profit
Cambridge and North Dumfries celebrate philanthropic organizations for their achievements
CAMBRIDGE, ONTARIO | November 27, 2019 – Canadian General-Tower (CGT), a leading global provider of coated fabric and film products, celebrated the achievements of The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank at the Seventh Annual Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Awards yesterday evening.
The event, held by the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, took place at the Hamilton Family Theatre, and recognizes the achievements of the Not-for-Profits, Charities and Service Groups in the communities of Cambridge and North Dumfries. Communities are built on the philanthropic efforts of local Not-for-Profits, Charities and Service Groups.
Sponsoring the Best Not-for-profit – 11 Employees and Over Community Award, CGT joined the community in celebrating The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank and other notable organizations on their accomplishments in the past year. The title was awarded to The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank for supporting the needs of the community and its residents. Not just a food bank, it works to change lives by providing an important service to the community and impacts thousands of residents every year. Just this past week, the Cambridge and North Dumfries community donated 9,855 pounds of food to the organization, so they can feed over 1,600 residents over the holidays.
